Manny joined SDCL in 2023 as part of the Volery Capital acquisition. He is the Managing Partner of SDCL’s Private Equity team and a member of the Private Equity Investment Committee and is based in Greenwich, CT.

Manny has over 20 years of private equity experience, including participation in more than US$3 billion of private equity investments and capital formation totaling more than US$15 billion. Before joining SDCL, Manny founded Volery Capital, which made growth equity investments in climate and related businesses. Prior to that, he was at Stone Point Capital from 2005 to 2012, where he worked on 20 investments as a generalist on the investment team, oversaw the firm’s marketing and investor relations functions and served on the firm’s Risk Management Committee. His prior work experience includes Bain Consulting and Beacon Group. Manny is on the Board of Directors of SDCL and the American Warriors Association. He is the Investor Representative to Renewable Resources Group and is a Board Observer to Sense Labs.

Manny earned his MBA from Wharton as a Palmer Scholar and his BSc from Wharton, Magna Cum Laude.
