Michael joined SDCL in 2023 as part of the Volery Capital acquisition. He is a Partner on SDCL’s Private Equity team based in Greenwich, CT.

Michael was a Founding Partner of Volery, responsible for firm operations, strategy, and business development activities, in addition to his role on the investment team, as a deal professional and observer on the Investment Committee. He has 15+ years of experience across the private equity, technology, and media industries in transaction, strategic, and operational roles. Previously, he was VP of Strategy, Innovation and Corporate Development at Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of MacAndrews & Forbes. Michael began his career as an entrepreneur and award-winning documentary filmmaker, as founder and CEO of Righteous Pictures.

Michael graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts, and dual degree in Communications and Visual Studies: Art Practice & Technology concentration. He was born and raised in Miami, FL and now lives in Greenwich with his wife and two sons.
